Celonis Continues Global Expansion with Opening of New Madrid Hub

Global market leader in process optimization software continues to expand its global presence

September 17, 2020 - Madrid, SpainCelonis, the market leader in AI-enhanced business software for the improvement of operational processes, today announced the official opening of its new international business hub in Madrid, Spain to further accelerate its international growth, provide services to European and global customers and strengthen the development of its products and solutions.

“As someone born and raised in Madrid, I can’t be more excited for Celonis to establish a foothold in this cosmopolitan city, full of talent both local and international. This new international hub will add capacity to our ability to best serve our European and global customers, will strengthen our support operations, product and solution development capabilities as well as deepen relationships with customers and partners in the region,” comments Arsenio Otero, Chief Operating Officer at Celonis.

The new hub will provide centralized operational support to help enterprises take advantage of Celonis' core process mining technology as well as its intelligent Operational Applications. Launched in April at Celosphere Live, these Applications combine Celonis’ market-leading process mining software with business context, AI, and automation to sense friction in processes and take intelligent action in real time - this enables the optimization of business processes and operations to achieve the desired business goals, maximize the execution capacity and increase the return on investment. The role-based Operational Applications are designed to align departments around key business outcomes, while prescribing guidance and prioritizing workflows to achieve target KPIs.

“Even before I joined Celonis, I could already see just how transformative its technology is,” stated Miguel Milano, Chief Revenue Officer and Co-Owner of Celonis. “The stories we hear from customers who are using Celonis in these challenging times are very inspiring: For example healthcare companies are better able to react to changes in their supply chain and deliver crucial supplies to those that need it. And with our COVID-19 Customer Care Apps we are helping companies to weather the turbulent economic environment by optimizing their accounting functions to preserve cash. But also in the long run, and when this crisis is over, every organization can realize massive business benefits from optimizing their processes with Celonis. Our new hub in Madrid will enable us to bring these benefits to many more companies in all sectors around the globe.”

Celonis joins a group of successful international technology enterprises with strategic hubs in Madrid, the second-largest city in Europe. Madrid is known for its wealth of world-class talent and Celonis will also leverage Madrid as a center for learning and development. The global hypergrowth enterprise software company demonstrates triple-digit revenue growth in software ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) year-on-year and is actively hiring for the new Madrid hub for roles in sales, customer success, solution engineering, and business development, with additional roles to open in the coming months.
