At Celosphere 2024, its annual user conference, Celonis launched AgentC—a suite of AI agent tools, integrations, and partnerships that enables our community to develop AI agents in the leading AI agent platforms, like Microsoft Copilot Studio, IBM watsonx Orchestrate, and Amazon Bedrock Agents. It also allows them to use AI agents pre-built by partners, like Rollio and Hypatos. All these AI agents are powered by Celonis Process Intelligence, making them understand how the business runs and how to make it run better.
Celonis Process Intelligence is essential to any enterprise AI strategy, because it gives AI the context needed to understand the business—a company’s policies, business rules, KPI definitions, roles, and responsibilities. When fed with business context (from the Process Intelligence Graph), foundational LLMs, which understand natural languages, can also understand business process details, like how to calculate your “excess stock” KPI. Through our Intelligence API, Celonis bridges the gap between foundational models and process intelligence, feeding process insights to AI agents that are pre-built by our partners or created on our partner agent platforms.
Celonis is collaborating with some of the biggest players in AI, which allows companies to power agents in environments of all sizes, large and small:
Microsoft: Through an integration with Microsoft Copilot Studio, customers can identify value opportunities and the underlying business problem with Celonis, build an agent based on Celonis process data and insights within Microsoft Copilot Studio and roll it out via Microsoft 365 Copilot.
IBM: Celonis and IBM integrate Celonis Process Intelligence with watsonx Orchestrate to make it easier for customers to identify opportunities and to create, build, run and monitor AI assistants and agents powered by automations across their choice of applications and channels. This integration will help empower users to scale AI agent deployment using AI models leveraging watsonx.ai and a low-code interface designed for business users across industry-leading use cases.*
Amazon Web Services: With Amazon Bedrock Agents, companies plan and execute complex, multi-step tasks across your enterprise systems, knowledge bases, and APIs. Fed with Process Intelligence from Celonis, these agents understand how work flows through the organization and can deliver smart process automation that adapts to the business. Amazon Bedrock Agents offer flexible choice of large language models (LLMs), including those from Anthropic, Meta, and Amazon—allowing you to select whichever best serves your task.
Beside these major platforms, Celonis is also collaborating with emerging agent platforms such as CrewAI, a framework that enables collaboration between multiple AI agents. CrewAI includes both an open-source version and a closed-source, enterprise version.
Celonis is partnering with technology partners to deliver ready-made agentic solutions based on the structured data and contextual business information in the Process Intelligence Graph:
Celonis for Process Collaboration, powered by Rollio: Developed by Rollio, a Celonis ISV partner that specializes in building AI agents for Sales and Customer Service, the solution enables the proactive resolution of process exceptions through agent-assisted, inter-department collaboration in natural language.
Celonis + Hypatos for Accounts Payable (AP) intelligent automation: Celonis is collaborating with Hypatos, the agentic document processing platform. Celonis’ Process Intelligence Graph provides the process intelligence, while Hypatos’ AI Agent for AP allows customers to fully automate the AP process, 3-way matching, G/L coding, and more. Meanwhile, Hypatos' Order Processing AI Agent streamlines sales order management, automating tasks like two-way catalog matching and downstream owner assignment.
Many companies do not yet have the skillset and resources to develop agents alone. To help them, Celonis is working with delivery partners, like IBM Consulting, Accenture and EY to implement AI agents in industries and departments across the spectrum—from banking, manufacturing and retail to finance, supply chain and IT.
