Celonis has been recognized as Decision Intelligence Company of the Year at the 2025 AI Breakthrough Awards for our innovations in AI and PI.
The annual AI Breakthrough Awards program, conducted by Tech Breakthrough, honors “AI companies that are at the forefront of artificial intelligence advancements, whether through technological innovations, creative applications or pioneering strategies that are reshaping the future of industries worldwide.”
There were over 5,000 nominations from all over the world for this year’s program. Award categories include AI Platforms, Generative AI, Data & Analytics, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Decision Intelligence & Management, and many more. As the winner of a 2025 award, Celonis joins an impressive list of companies and startups that are driving innovation across the global AI industry.
In May, we showcased our latest AI and PI innovations at Celonis:Next, demonstrating how our PI platform enables companies to maximize their ROI.
"AI is great for everyday tasks, like writing emails. But to provide maximum value for business, it needs to do things like telling you which customer deliveries are at risk and take automated action to reroute deliveries and notify logistics partners," said Alex Rinke, co-CEO and co-founder of Celonis, in a press release for Celonis:Next. "Celonis Process Intelligence makes this possible. It provides AI with the process knowledge and business context to make it effective in accomplishing business-critical tasks, like mitigating supply chain disruptions, optimizing inventory, and managing tariffs. That’s why we strongly believe that for enterprise use cases, ‘there’s no AI without PI’."
At the heart of the Celonis platform is the Process Intelligence Graph (PI Graph). It brings together process data and business context to create a digital twin of your enterprise operations. At last year’s Celosphere, we unveiled AgentC–a suite of AI agent tools, integrations, and partnerships that enables customers to bring process intelligence from the PI Graph to AI agents everywhere.
Just six months after the initial launch, we announced significant upgrades to AgentC at the Celonis:Next, including an extended Process Intelligence API, making it easier to securely share PI context, metrics, and recommended actions with AI platforms.
During the event, Celonis also announced that we acquired the Orchestration Engine–originally launched with our partner Emporix. Orchestration Engine coordinates complex workflows involving multiple AI agents, human tasks, and system automations across an enterprise, intelligently steering processes and making dynamic decisions at key points in a process.
To enable faster deployment of PI and AI across every enterprise, Celonis also introduced Celonis Solution Suites. These comprehensive suites help companies accelerate process improvement and reduce time to value by packaging Celonis expertise and technology, combining connectors to critical systems, pre-defined process data and business context, AI-powered capabilities, and pre-built apps. The first Solution Suites cover areas including, Supply Chain, Finance, Front Office, and Sustainability.
