Celonis Delta Cycle: Uplevel Your Impact. Keep Your Qualifications.
At Celonis Academy, we understand the dynamic nature of the Celonis platform and the importance of continuous learning. That's why we're excited to feature our annual Delta Cycle, specifically designed to ensure your Celonis Qualifications remain strong, relevant and a true reflection of your up-to-date expertise.
What are Delta Exams?
Delta Exams are your streamlined path to keep your Celonis Qualifications current and valid. It's a free, fast, and focused way to maintain your ongoing expertise. We've designed these exams to capture just the latest innovations and crucial updates, ensuring you remain at the forefront without re-doing full qualification tests. The best part? If there's no new content relevant to your Qualification for a given cycle, you don’t need to take a Delta Exam, and your digital badge will automatically remain valid.
Delta Exams are released every June and stay accessible for a four-month window, concluding at the end of September. Throughout the cycle, you receive regular reminders to help you stay on track and ensure you complete your exams before the deadline.
It's crucial to understand that if you don't complete the required Delta Exams by the September 30th deadline, or fail both attempts, your associated Qualifications expire on October 1st. When this happens, any Expert Badges linked to those qualifications will also be lost. To get qualified again, you'll have to retake the full (and longer) qualification exams.
If a qualification has a pre-set expiration date, it will remain valid until that specific date, but then it will expire without another chance to complete a Delta Exam.

Tracking Your Learners' Progress
Want to keep tabs on your team's Celonis learning journey? It's easy with the Learning Analytics Dashboard! It gives you an immediate overview of key metrics like total learners, valid qualifications, certifications, and expert badges. During an active Delta Cycle, it shows who has valid, at-risk, and expired qualifications, along with detailed status updates for each learner's Delta Exams.

Your Path to Maintaining Qualification
You should receive a personalized notification about two weeks before the Delta Cycle begins, detailing the exact Delta Exams needed for your active qualifications. This early heads-up gives you time to prepare and plan.
Once the cycle officially starts, if you need to take a Delta Exam, Celonis Academy will handle the enrollment for you. This means your exam will be waiting for you, readily accessible under the "My Activity" section on your Academy dashboard, or you can go directly to the Delta Exam page. If no Delta Exam is needed for a particular qualification, you won't be enrolled for it, and your badge will simply stay valid.
